The Vibe

The sweet spot on any putter just got bigger by at least 15mm.
Sounds amazing and this latest patented technology from Dave Hicks Golf does just that. Placed in your putter's shaft at around the balance point it stops the vibrations at impact going up the shaft and extends the size of the sweetspot towards both the heel and the toe. This does make the putter a bit heavier by around 45 grams but as it is at the balance point and not in the head it does not make a noticeable difference.

What are the benefits?
Off centre hits cause directional problems and are a major factor in distance control. An off centre strike can result in distance loss of up to 20% with some putters on a long putt. More 3 putts are the result of poor distance control than anything else. On those birdie putts even if you have read the line correctly any loss of distance control will cause a miss. Too hard and you miss on the topside and too soft you miss below the hole.

Now that the sweetspot on any putter can be enlarged will mean greater consistency and lower scores.

How do I get the system fitted?
We make a small hole at the end of your putter grip which is then plugged after we have inserted the Vibe down the shaft at the balance point.

Please call us on 0113 239 7236 before you send your putter. If this is not convenient we will try to find an approved Dave Hicks fitter in your area.

Cost is £59.41 inc return postage. We usually take payment after we have fitted the Vibe to your putter.

Most of the putters tend to be too light to get the ball to travel far enough for the swing your eye tells you to put on the putt. With the weighting system in your putter the ball travels further with less swing, so the stroke gets the ball up to the hole. This avoids what could be described as hitting the ball and losing control.

Golfers get their clubs and drivers custom fit, but very few do it for their putter thus ignoring half the game. A custom fit putter will improve your putting forever.

Off centre hits go further, so when you miss the sweetspot the ball travels less distance than a pure strike. This will greatly reduce any three putts by mishitting and coming up short. There is a more solid feel with feedback
